Yet, when it comes to supporting vulnerable people, the process is often expensive, complex, and lacks transparency,” says CEO George Robinson. “After 10 years as a Barrister, I found arranging care for my loved ones incredibly challenging. Too many people in the UK are struggling without the support they need, and this must change.”

“Watching my Grandma battle Alzheimer’s was traumatic for our family,” shares Alex, our Chief Product Officer. “Getting the right care felt impossible, with different carers showing up daily, unfamiliar with my Gran’s needs. The flaws in our current social care system caused so much pain that I felt compelled to make a difference. Co-founding Gladys was my way of turning empathy into action. Our platform is more than just technology—it’s a bridge of compassion connecting local, talented carers directly with families. By simplifying the process and fostering genuine connections, we’re improving lives and providing carers with the support they deserve.”
