Within a week of my first contact Sharin from Gladys had arranged three extremely attentive carers so that one of them can visit my aunt for an hour or so each day. The team have been visiting for three weeks now and have been shopping with her, taking her to medical appointments, offering valuable companionship, preventing minor household crises, helping with hearing aids, a haircut, ensuring my aunt takes her medication and so much more. "We used Gladys earlier this year when my Dad who suffered from heart failure and Alzheimer's went rapidly downhill after a hospital stay. As soon as we spoke to Gladys there was a huge sense of relief that they were able to help find us carers to support Dad and at very short notice. The carers were really lovely and able to match their services to what Dad needed, as it changed on a daily basis. They were very flexible and covered each other during any time off.
